Policies
Tuition: Our monthly fee is a flat monthly fee due the first class of each month.

It is a monthly charge.  It does not represent the combined cost of four of five
separate classes per month.  It is due regardless of Holidays, cancellations, or
a student's absence.
There are no refunds or adjustments made for classes missed.

Late fee: $5.00 late fee if not paid by the first lesson of the month.  If you are
absent, your  tuition is not considered late if paid on the next lesson.  If you
forget your tuition please drop it off at the studio the week of the first lesson and
it will not be considered late.

Make up Lessons:  If you are absent, you can ask your teacher for a class
time to visit.  We do not pro- rate tuition for missed lessons.  It is a flat fee.
Some days miss more than others due to Holidays.  You are welcome to make
those up as well.

Re enrollment fee: Once enrolled, a monthly fee of $40 will be due your first
lesson of each month until May. You may quit at anytime.  However there will be
a re-enrollment fee of $45 due upon re-enrolling during the same dance "year".
This re-enrollment fee applies to former students who join later than September.

No Cash: For everyone's safety we do not accept cash for tuition, costumes, or
the fund raisers.  Too much cash on the premises is dangerous.

Checks:   Please write your child's name and class day and time on the check.
If you are taking class at both studios, please write a separate check for each
studio.

Returned check fee: $20.00

Observing class:  One adult per student is allowed in the observation room.
Please refrain from "coaching" your child during class.  In order to continue this
arrangement we need your help in creating a quiet learning atmosphere for the
students.
Recital Info: There is an annual recital.  If you choose to be in the recital you
will be required to buy 2 costumes, tights, matching shoes.  There is also a
recital fee.  All accounts must be paid in full before participating in the annual
recital   Students are required to attend a studio practice and a mandatory
Dress Rehearsal in order to perform in the recital.
 Vacations will not be an
excused absence for missing dress rehearsal.  If your child is in Beginning
Level or above you will also be asked to put your child's hair in a bun or ponytail
so that everyone's hair looks the same on stage.  Please take this into account
when considering being a part of the show.  This can be a great source of
stress to many parents, especially if your daughter has short hair.
So use every class as a practice.  Bangs will need to be pinned back, to give
the appearance of a slicked back ballerina look.  If their hair is too short,
practice bobbie pinning it back away from the face. If it is long, you may want to
put it in a ponytail first, braid it, and then wrap it around into a bun.  Use many
bobbie pins and hairspray.  Some parents use a devise that you wrap the hair
around to give fine hair more of
a bun look.  Please email us through the website and we can help in locating
such a product. Rest Assured, parents of toddlers and little preschoolers, we
are much more lenient when it comes to our tiny ones. Getting ready for dance
class should not be a stressful experience for our little dancers. If you have
family who also attends classes at Tippy Toes, do not hesitate to ask now if they
will be dancing in the same show.  The shows were divided over the summer.
But we can switch what class a student attends to get them in the same show.
This would be best if it is done soon, before the student gets too attached to a
particular class.  We carefully tried to get all families together, but sometimes
there is an oversight.

Fund Raiser: Sept-Oct.
To be announced, possible spring fund raiser for recital fee
