Your rehearsal or recital may fall anywhere from May 23 - June 5. Please keep this in mind when planning vacations. In order to participate in recital, attendance for the dress rehearsal is a requirement. Vacations will not be an excused absence this year. As soon as we have a signed contract with the auditorium we will notify you of the dates. * Keep in mind that you will be assigned to just one show. Each show has a code color. You will have one or two studio practices (depending on your level), one dress rehearsal on the stage, and one recital. * Our website is updated periodically. We will make an attempt to send an email when it has been updated. However if you are not receiving any emails, please check our website monthly. You may also use the contact page to inform us that you need to be put on our mailing list. The address is www.tippytoesschoolofdance.com *Our monthly fee is a flat monthly fee due the first class of each month. It is a monthly charge. It does not represent the combined cost of four of five separate classes per month. It is due regardless of Holidays, cancellations, or a student's absence. There are no refunds or adjustments made for classes missed. Lessons can be made up by visiting another class. Your teacher will provide a list of make up times. There is no need to call when you have missed. Arrangements can be made through your teacher. *Some days miss more than others due to Holidays. You are welcome to make those up as well. *In the case of bad weather, please check our website and your email inbox for cancellations. These snow days can be made up anytime by visiting another class. *Once enrolled, your monthly fee will be due your first lesson of each month until May. Please see our Policy page on our website for pricing. You may disenroll at anytime. However there will be a re-enrollment fee of $45 due upon re-enrolling during the same dance "year". * The policies page on our website lays out our dress code. Students are not to wear street clothes (shirts, sweaters, shorts, pants etc.). Hair must be pulled back in either a ponytail or bun. No bare feet (especially if using our rental shoes). Teachers reserve the right to limit a student to observing a class if these rules are not followed. *If participating in recital, please note that most classes will be told to wear their hair in a bun. If this sounds like a challenging task, use each class as a practice and ask your teacher for helpful hints. * If you have family who also attends classes at Tippy Toes, do not hesitate to ask now if they will be dancing in the same show. The shows were divided over the summer. But we can switch what class a student attends to get them in the same show. This would be best if it is done soon, before the student gets too attached to a particular class. We carefully tried to get all families together, but sometimes there is an oversight. *Your teacher should prove to be a very helpful guide during the course of this dance year. But if you ever have any concerns, feel free to use the contact page on our website to get in touch with the studio manager. Thank you for choosing Tippy Toes as your "dance home". We promise take good care of you and your little one. And we hope to make your time here special, something you will always cherish. That's what it's all about. |
